Overnight Crimes

Please see below for an overnight crime reported on Emerson Park ward.

Interference with Motor Vehicle reported in Woodlands Avenue

On 25/08/2026 sometime between 0130 - 0500 hours, suspects unknown have used a pillar to step up onto and climb over the security gate, to gain access onto the front drive. Suspect has then used a master key to open the control box, then manually open the security gate, so another unknown male could enter through.

Suspects unknown drilled two holes into the side of a Black Mercedes and you can see a wire has been stripped inside. It looks as if the suspects were trying to disable the Ghost defence system, which all the motor vehicles they own are fitted with. One of the suspects even had a torch light fitted around his head, whilst he was looking in the engine, like a car mechanic.

A total of four unknown suspects were captured on cctv and a White BMW or maybe a Ford Fiesta was seen exiting Porchester Close and driving at speed up Woodlands Avenue. 

The suspects gave up trying to get the motor vehicle started and the last suspect to leave ensured all the doors and front bonnet of the motor vehicle were closed properly and he even closed the security gate behind him.   

There has been NO further overnight crimes of Burglary, Robbery or any other type of Motor Vehicle Crime reported on the ward.
